Reuel Richard Bundy, the son of Richard and Theresa "Tracy" (Smith) Bundy was born on April 10, 1952 in Rugby, North Dakota. He died at the age of 74 years on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at his home under the care of hospice and his family.
Reuel is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Ruella "Ellie" Bundy of Rugby, Heidi Bundy (Craig) of Dunseith, Richard (Jessica) Bundy of Bismarck and Josh (Kimberly) Bundy of Devils Lake; grandchildren, Morgan, Makenah, Isaiah, Finn, Calli, Chloe, Gabryelle, Gage and Gracie; great grandchildren, Colt "Buddy" and Boston "Junior"; sisters, Bev (Duane) Paul of Rugby, LaVon (Wayne) Schmaltz of Rugby and Rachel (Neil) Bosley of Yuma, Arizona; in-laws, David Volk, Curtis (Terry) Stavang and LaRae (Michael) Hagel; mother-in-law, JoAnn (Ralph) Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 11 at First Lutheran Church in Rugby with lunch and fellowship to follow in the church basement. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Persilla Watts Cemetery in Rugby.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service and sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Visitation will continue on Friday for one hour prior to the time of services at the church.
