In loving memory of Peggy S. Yates, who passed away on July 17, 2026, age 70, at home with her family. She was born in Minot, North Dakota but moved to Albuquerque, NM 45 years ago and has called it home ever since. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. She was selfless and always put others ahead of herself. She helped anyone she could in every way she was able to. She was a loving mother, proud grandmother (bragging about her grandchildren whenever possible) and a devoted friend. She loved deeply and played hard. She will always be lovingly remembered by her girls as Wonder Woman with smiles in their hearts. Thank you, Mama - you gave us the best memories!!
She will be deeply missed by all that knew her and especially her family, which includes: Her daughters Tara Garcia (Nickole Garcia), Tonia Bazan (John Bazan). Her amazing grandchildren Miguel Montoya (Justin Ruiz), Dakota Garcia, Aja Garcia, Jaden Garcia, Marrisa Duran (Carlos Duran), Johnny Bazan, Noel Bazan. Her siblings Terry Jundt (Nancy Jundt), Jackie Adam, Jeff Jundt (Debbie Jundt), Todd Jundt (Leslie Jundt), Pam Wulf, and her eternal besties Judi Bailey, Birgit Duran and Paula Peknik. She had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her amazing parents Leo & Gloria Jundt and her brother Mark Jundt.
Peggy requested no formal services be held for her, but her family welcomes your prayers for her. She instead requested a private Celebration of Life to help her loved ones support each other and remember the best times in this time of sorrow.
