Linda R. Seaman, 70, Minot, died Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in a Minot hospital.

Linda Rae “Berdahl” Seaman was born on June 30, 1956, in Minot, North Dakota, one of thirteen children born to Donald and Arlene (Martinson) Berdahl. She was raised and educated in Minot, where she spent most of her life.

On August 4, 1973, Linda married the love of her life, Daniel Seaman, in Minot. The couple spent a year in Virginia before returning to North Dakota to raise their family. They were blessed with three sons: Robert (born August 28, 1975), Raymond (born May 14, 1979), and Richard (born May 8, 1986).

Linda devoted herself as a homemaker while her boys were young and ran an in-home daycare. She later worked outside the home at Magic City Laundry and the Holiday Inn. Her greatest joy in life was helping others. She was always there with a helping hand, whether caring for family, friends, or anyone in need. She lovingly looked after her mother until her passing in 2025 and touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Linda truly made a difference in the lives of everyone around her.

She loved being outdoors, fishing, camping, and gardening and had a special talent for making any house feel like a warm, welcoming home. She was an amazing cook who took great pride in making sure her family and friends were well fed. She cherished her many pets over the years and loved them dearly. An avid bingo player who also enjoyed shopping, Linda approached life with energy and a big heart. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished her family deeply. She loved her family and friends fiercely and took special delight in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends, always making time to support and spoil them.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Daniel; her three sons, Robert(Penny), Raymond, and Richard; and her siblings: Marilynn Tayler (Azel, TX), Connie Marie Mercier (Walton, IN), Carol (Carl) Florez (St. Augustine, FL), Roxann Keelan, Lorie Ann Meyer, Donald Berdahl (Mandan, ND), Cathy Jo Berdahl (Minot), and Marlene Brandt. She is also survived by her beloved Melissa Olson, Hayden Olson, grandchildren Dylan Seaman and Raylynn Seaman, godson Carson Oja, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Arlene (Martinson) Berdahl; brothers David, Allan, and Robert “Bobby” Berdahl; sister Peggy Sheppard; her best friend Wanda Olson; nephews Christopher and Michael Florez; and brother-in-law James Brandt.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 4-6 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Funeral Service: Thursday. July 16, 2026, at 10 am at First Lutheran Church, Minot.

Burial: A private committal service will take place.
