Dennis Sletten, 73, Ryder, ND went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2026. He passed away peacefully at home with his loved ones by his side. Dennis fought a good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith.

Dennis was born May 21, 1953, in Minot, ND. After graduating from high school in Garrison, ND, in 1971, and completing a year of University in Grand Forks, he married Cynthia Clyde and dedicated his life to his passion of farming. He especially enjoyed combining, caring for his neighbors, and raising his family on the farm.

Dennis’ first love was his Savior, Jesus, and he expressed his love by his faithfulness, generosity, and sincere care for others in the Kingdom of God. He pastored a Pentecostal church in Garrison, ND, for 6 years and served as the Sunday School secretary and director in the ND District from 1984-1994. He was a pillar in the Apostolic Faith Church, Minot, ND, for 50 years by serving in various ministry areas of the church and using his building experience with construction projects at the church and family camp.

Dennis also enjoyed rockhounding and traveled extensively with the love of his life: hiking National Parks and visiting many different countries, including the 7 modern wonders of the world.

Dennis is lovingly remembered by his wife, Cynthia Sletten; children, Wendy (Vaughn) Pearson, Jason (Shawna) Sletten, Dusty Sletten, Tiffany Francis, and Misty (James) Pearson; 23 grandchildren and their spouses; 13 great grandchildren; Siblings, Diane (Kelvin) Ellison, and Darren (Jodi) Sletten.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert Arthur Sletten and Marvelle Irene (Klabunde) Sletten.

Visitation: Visitation: Monday, July 13, 2026, from 6 pm to 7 pm at Apostolic Faith Church, Minot

Funeral: Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at Apostolic Faith Church, Minot.

Burial: Dennis will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
