Rebecca “Becky” Briggs, 58, Minot, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in her home.
Rebecca “Becky” Kay Bischof was born on January 17, 1968, a daughter of Andrew and Mary Louise (Lenertz) Bischof in Minot, ND. She was raised with her two siblings Rick and Roxcy, where she graduated from Surrey High School in 1986. Becky furthered her education by attending Moorhead State University, where she graduated in 1990, with a bachelor’s degree in social work, and a minor in psychology.
Becky fell in love in Fargo and was married in 1993. She then started a family and was blessed with 3 children Dylan, Daniel and Keely. She began working for the State of North Dakota as a social worker. They then moved to Minot, where Becky became the Statewide Director for Easter Seals Goodwill, a position she held for over 17 years. She ended her career doing what she loved most, working with children for the state. Becky always had a love for helping others, a career that lasted over 37 years.
