Deborah Lou (Kramer) Berg, born on May 29, 1958, in Alameda, CA, passed away in her home on October 24, 2025, in Andover, MN. She was 67 years old.

Deb spent her early years in California, Rhode Island, and Florida supporting her father’s career in the Navy before moving home to North Dakota. She attended school in Minot and graduated from Minot High School. It was here she met the love of her life, Richard “Rick” Berg, and they were united in marriage on September 28, 1979 in Anoka, MN.

Together, Deb and Rick created countless memories. In their younger years, Deb and Rick enjoyed roller skating and bowling, often competing in couple’s leagues. They also found joy in camping and spending time on their pontoon. Summers were often spent at Springvale Campground near Cambridge, MN, where they formed lasting friendships.

Deb’s dedication to her profession with the State of Minnesota led her to a remarkable career which spanned over 40 years.

A woman of many talents and passions, Deb loved gardening, cooking, and baking. She was skilled in sewing, knitting, crocheting, and crafting. She was known to create clothing, blankets, pillows, or mend items belonging to her nieces with great expertise. Deb also enjoyed playing board games, a pastime that reflected her love for connection and fun. Her smile and laughter were contagious.

Deborah is survived by her siblings Jerry Kramer, Richard Kramer, Kristen Mauldin (Scott Ballantyne), Brandon Belgarde, her treasured nieces and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick; her parents, Richard Kramer and Shirley Belgarde; infant brother, Jeffrey Kramer; and many cherished pets.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 3, 2026, at 2 PM at Norwich Lutheran Church, Norwich, ND. All are welcome to attend and share stories and memories about our treasured sister, Debbie.
