Margaret “Peggy” Sprague, 96, formerly of Manfred, died Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at a Velva care center.

Margaret Ellanora Renden was born Feb. 7, 1930, in Manfred, to Jens and Marie (nee Hedahl) Renden.

Family: Peggy is survived by her son, Billy; sister-in-law, Pat Sprague; special niece, Judy Duerre, as well as other nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by: Her parents, Jens and Marie; brothers, Charles and Wilbur Peterson; sisters, Marian Cook, Norma Cook, Dolores Renden, Dolly Marty and Johanna Renden; husband, Paul; son, Billy; and sister-in-law, Velma Sprague.

Graveside Service: 11:30 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2026, at Vang Lutheran Cemetery, Manfred.
