John Waldock

John Waldock, Sr., age 82, a longtime resident of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away on April 24, 2026. Born in Minot and raised on the family farm in Parshall, ND, John served in the U.S. Army and studied at the University of Minnesota before completing a 35-year career with AT&T. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Cora, and his wife, Arlene. John is survived by his children, John Jr. (Rebecca) and Jennifer; grandchildren, Jackson, Kate, and Sam; and siblings, Richard, Marilyn, Monica, Rita, Joan, Jim, Dan, and Cathy. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with a private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
