Hudson Bryantt, 9, Berthold, was called to his heavenly home Saturday, May 2, 2026.
Hudson John Bryantt was born on December 29, 2016, to Drew and Lisa (Schmaltz) Bryantt in Minot, ND. He was raised and attended school in Berthold, ND.
Hudson was a sweet little boy who loved to give hugs. He didn’t care who, what, when, or where, he was always prepared for a hug and was never the first to let go. He had a heart so big and cared so deeply for his parents, sister, family and friends. You can consider yourself blessed if you have ever been on the receiving end of even one “Hudson Hug”.
Hudson had a love of anything with wheels right from the start. He put many miles on his knees pushing cars, trucks, trains, and tractors around and his pants had the holes to prove it. He dreamed of being a truck driver when he grew up and driving a green semi around!
A favorite activity for Hudson was spending time outdoors. Not only still pushing anything with wheels around but exploring and letting his imagination roam outside. He and his sister were often found outside in the trees, jumping on the trampoline, riding their bikes, driving the go-cart, swimming for hours on end at the lake, visiting the farm for tractor rides, camping and hiking with Mom and Dad. His favorite vacation spot was going to Black Hills South Dakota and exploring all the trails that we could squeeze into a day, especially if they included running water.
Hudson participated in basketball, t-ball, and flag football with his friends. He loved playing with and cheering for his teammates not only in sports but all throughout school. Like any normal elementary boy, recess, phy-ed, and lunch were his favorite subjects in school; bus rides were also a highlight of each day. He was quiet when you asked about schoolwork, but ask him what was for lunch or the activity in phy-ed and you would get an enthusiastic response.
Hudson was such a blessing to his parents and sister. The love he gave and was given by them in the 9 years spent together will always be cherished. There were countless hours spent creating memories as a family, from Mario Kart battles, board games, reading the Bible and Berenstain Bears books for bedtime stories, outside games, gardening, going to the gym, playing with Bowser, to the simple things like family meals. He will forever be remembered, cherished, deeply loved, and badly missed.
We love you the mostest Hudson!
