Dianne Wolf

Leavenworth, Kan.

Dianne Sheri Wolf, 72, of Leavenworth, died Friday, May 8, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 29, 1954, in Whidbey Island, Wash., the daughter of Donald and Sharon (Langseth) Kimball.

She is survived by her partner, Tracy Petersen; two children, Joshua Wolf and Melissa (Rob) Hunter both of DeSoto, Kan.; a step-son, Benjamin Petersen of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Shelley Perlichek, Lisa (Jason) Wall and Patti (Dean) Rylander; two brothers, Dana Kimball and Jay (Jamie) Kimball; three grandchildren, Kylee (Haiden) Weese, Maddux Hunter and Autumn Petersen-Swinford; a great-grandchild, Ulysses Weese; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sandy Kimball.

Dianne enjoyed drawing and painting. She loved exploring the U.S. and going RV-ing. She also enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her vegetable garden.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. A celebration of Dianne’s life will be Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Barn at Schwinn Produce. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Skydog Ranch Sanctuary or Asher House, to honor Dianne’s love for animals
