Bernice Beverly (Duchscher) Kirchofner passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026 at Eventide Care Center in Devils Lake, North Dakota. She was 97 yrs old. Bernice Beverly (Duchscher) Kirchofner, daughter of Jack & Amelia (Schiff) Duchscher was born on November 26, 1928 in Rugby, North Dakota. Bernice was united in marriage to John Kirchofner on October 13, 1947. Bernice is survived by her children, Carol (Allen) Reiter of Devils Lake, Ronald (Donna) Kirchofner of Devils Lake, Gary (Kathy) Kirchofner of Rugby and Gayla Meier (Rick Aloisi) of Devils Lake; sisters, Caroline Bickler of Devils Lake and Evelyn (Tim) Blessum of Minot; 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2026 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with rosary and vigil prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with no viewing at the church.
