Allen Thomas Johnson was born on May 5, 1941, in Rolette, ND to Wilmer and Gunda (Bakken) Johnson. He died at the age of 84 years on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Heart of America Living Center in Rugby, North Dakota. On October 21, 1962, he was united in marriage to Karen Hill at the Willow Creek Lutheran Church in Overly. Allen is survived by his wife, Karen; his daughters, Barbara (James) Nash, and Donna (David) Nelson; his grandchildren, BreAnne LaRocque and Clay LaRocque (Hope Olson and her children, Brighton, and Aurora). He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Cris Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby with burial at 1:45 p.m. at Willow Creek Cemetery in Overly. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services at the funeral home on Saturday.
