Craig Pankratz
Jan. 10, 1947-April 27, 2026
Minot
Our brother, Vincent Craig Pankratz, was taken home by Jesus Christ his Savior on Monday, April 27, 2026. Craig was the first born to Dr. Vincent A. Pankratz and Geanne (Flom) Pankratz on January 10, 1947 in Minneapolis, MN.
Often harassing us when he was young, Craig as an adult, took his role as big brother and protector seriously. He was devoted to staying in touch with family and friends through regular phone calls which were short but sweet. He was a gentle man with a bright mind and keen wit. He read voraciously and often answered Final Jeopardy correctly even after two tequilas.
In his working life he used his gifts and strengths. He had an excellent working relationship with his employers and the respect and dedication from his co-workers.

A defining event in Craig’s life was his tour in the Vietnam War. As most soldiers, he left as a youth and came back a man forever changed. Throughout his life he remained faithful to Veteran’s causes.
He is survived by us his siblings: Susie (George) Olson, Blaisdell, ND, Linda Osmanson, Missoula, MT, Brian (Sheila) Pankratz, Eatonville, WA, and Cathie (Bernie) Wasser, Minot; beloved nephews and nieces; Stephanie Everett, Alyssa (Fred) Krueutzfeldt, Marshal (Angela) Olson, Jessie Osmanson, Colin (Delsi) Osmanson, Justin (Rayelle) Haase, Michael Pankratz, Ryan (Kelsey) Pankratz, Tyler Johnson; and many grand nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, grandnephew, Rylan Osmanson and several dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.
We will forever miss Craig and his gentle presence in our lives.
