Coral Hoff age 82, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at a Minot hospital. Her memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 10:30 am at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau.
Coral Nordmark daughter of Bennie and Harriet (Fairweather) Nordmark was born on September 21, 1943 in Bottineau, ND. She grew up on a farm near Roth, ND and graduated from Souris High School.
After graduation she went to Minot State Teachers college and graduated with a degree in education. She taught in New Town, ND. Her love of a learning led her to pursue a degree at Turtle Mountain School of Medical Technique, graduating as a medical laboratory technician. After graduation she completed her certification to become a Medical Lab Technologist at the Bottineau Clinic as well an instructor at the TMSMT.
Coral married Harvey Hoff on August 4, 1963, while teaching in New Town. They moved to Bottineau when Harvey became employed at First National Bank. They were blessed with three children Molly, David and Nancy.
Coral was a member of First Lutheran Church and was active in quilting and circle along with teaching Sunday School and leading many choirs. She treasured time with her family, spending time at the lake (especially starting fires and cutting branches) and enjoyed gardening and identifying birds. She enjoyed baking buns, making a pan of bars and was an excellent cook. Above all, she made sure to see the good in all people and situations.
Coral is survived by her husband Harvey of 62 years, children Molly (Jim) Paszek of Minot, David (Angie) Hoff of Bottineau and Nancy (Bob) Reiser of Cando; grandchildren Sam Paszek, Tom Paszek, Max Paszek, Myah Radtke, Connor Radtke, Hannah (Mitch) Roerick, and Olivia Reiser; great grandchild Sereia Paszek; sister Diane (Ron) Benson, sister-in-law Sandra Nordmark, brothers-in- law William (Gloria) Hoff and Tim (Linda) Hoff along with several nieces and nephews.
Coral is preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary, and sister-in-law Gwen Frey along with her husband Richard.
In lieu of flowers, Coral prefers memorials be given to St. Andrews Hospital, DCB School of Nursing, or organization of their choice.
