Wayne Aga, 67, lifelong Minot resident and business owner, died Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in a Stanley medical center.

Wayne was born February 8, 1959, in Minot, ND to Bryce and Frances (Lakaduk) Aga. He graduated from Minot High School with the Class of 1977.

Wayne started his career in service to others on a vehicle wrecker. He worked for Owl/Aga towing for several years until joining his father in the operation of Bryce’s Mobile Home Movers. His dedication, work ethic and business sense has been an integral part of his success since taking sole ownership of the business in 1987.

Wayne was united in marriage to Karen Lagge on June 3, 1983. They were blessed with a son Troy in 1992. They enjoyed summers spent on the pontoon cruising Lake Sakakawea and numerous trips to Montana over years.

Wayne was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Minot. He will be remembered for his quick wit and ability to divert any repercussions from his jokes. He was a one-of-a-kind guy who made people laugh and was so convincing even while possibly stretching the truth!

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen, Minot; son Troy Aga, Minot; sisters Cheryl (Tim) Theusch, Hot Springs, SD, Debbie (Jan) Savchenko, Cedar Rapids, IA, Diane (John) Gross, Arlington, WA; Theresa Kvamme, Everett, WA; brother Arnold (Michelle) Aga, Minot, ND; sisters-in-law Gloria Huston, Bismarck, ND and JoAnn Lagge, Garrison, ND; brother-in-law Wade (Lori) Lagge, Voltaire, ND along with numerous loved nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Bryce and Frances Aga, mother and father-in-law Edwin and Tessie Lagge, several brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Interment: Garrison City Cemetery, Garrison, ND, held in the Spring 2026.

Visitation: Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home.
