Rebecca “Becky” Lee, 46, Minot, ND, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Rebecca “Becky” Jo Frantsvog was born in Minot, North Dakota on February 20, 1980, to Robert and Sandra (Hoffer) Frantsvog. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1998.

After graduating high school, Becky attended Minot State University and Mayville State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Becky was passionate about children. She loved being in the classroom with her students, always enthusiastic about helping them grow and learn. She was always there with kind words of encouragement; Becky has helped so many children throughout her years working at Minot Head Start and Minot Public Schools.

Becky married Terry Lee on February 11, 2012, in Cancun, Mexico. They made their home in Minot and were blessed with three children, Leightyn, Kainen, and Kohen. Family was always incredibly important to Becky. Over the years Becky and her family shared many great memories of the North Dakota outdoors. She loved camping with her family and really enjoyed fishing. She could spend hours in the boat with her family, even without getting a single bite. Becky also took great pride in her yard and could frequently be seen outside tending to the grass and flowers.

Becky loved a good bargain. She could frequently be found at one of the local thrift stores or at a neighbor’s rummage sale. You never knew what she might come home with; but you knew she got it at a good price. Becky loved people and has shared so many great friendships throughout her life. From dear friends, to co-workers to casual acquaintances, Becky was blessed with a gift to easily connect with others. Becky loved old country music. She would sing all the time, whether she knew the words or not. She had a strong faith in the Lord. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Becky will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness, her compassion, her love, and her happy-go-lucky attitude. She will be greatly missed.

Her loving family includes: husband of 14 years, Terry; children, Leightyn, Kainen, and Kohen Lee; step-children, Austin (Callie) Lee, Brenden Lee, Breyden Lee; step-grandchildren, River, Ezra, and Emma; brothers, Travis (Ginger) Frantsvog, David (Shanda) Frantsvog; sister-in-law, Sara Frantsvog; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
