Bennie G. Juelich, 82, Minot, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in a Minot hospital.

Bennie G. Juelich was born June 19, 1943, a son of Martin and Agnes (Ness) Juelich in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Minot, until the age of 9, when the family moved to California. He graduated from high school in CA. Following graduation, Bennie worked in a machine shop, where he specialized in machining motor valves.

Bennie met Maxine Stringer while vacationing in Parshall, ND. The couple were united in marriage to June 19, 1964, in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in CA for a few years until returning to ND.

Bennie worked as a foreman for Mel’s Concrete for many years, where he specialized in building basements. He also drove for Concrete Mobile until retirement. In his retirement years, Bennie installed garage doors.

Bennie and Maxine were charter members of Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot. He also enjoyed attending Saron Lutheran Church, where he made many friends.

Family was very important to him. He enjoyed spending time with Maxine, Jason and the nieces and nephews. He especially enjoyed Easter, when the family would get together and Bennie would spend time with the children flying kites and untangling them with a smile.

Bennie is survived by:

Wife of 61 years, Maxine; son Jason; In-laws: Gayle (Clayton) Folden, Judy Johnson;

Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Bob, Byron and Betty; father and mother-in-law: Bert (Elvina) Stringer; brothers and sisters-in-law Dale (Jill) Stringer, and LaVerne Johnson.

Visitation: Saturday, March 7, 2026 one hour prior to the service at the Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot.

Celebration of Bennie’s Life: Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 10:30 am at Bread of Life Lutheran Church. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed on the church website.

Burial: A private family committal service will be held.
