Sharon K. Miller-Sabbe, 78, Surrey, ND, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 in a Minot Rehab facility.

Sharon Wheeler was born on September 16, 1947, a daughter of James and Mildred (Graber) Wheeler in Valley City, ND. She was raised and educated in Dunseith, ND where she attended Dunseith High School.

Sharon furthered her education and obtained her Cosmetology License. She also attended Minot State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and in Psychology.

On July 18, 2008, Sharon was united in marriage to Jerome Sabbe. They made their home in Surrey, ND, where together they enjoyed working in the flower gardens, camping and playing Bingo. Sharon also enjoyed shopping at Thrift stores, looking for the perfect bargain. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her.

Sharon is survived by:

Husband Jerry; children: Becky (Jon) Miller, Carrie (Jim) Boe and Kristi (Eric) Taylor; sisters-in-law: Holly Wheeler and Vicki Wheeler; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, son Dale Allickson, siblings Richard Wheeler, Judith Gagnier, and James Wheeler Jr.

Visitation: Friday, February 27, 2026 one hour prior to the service at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Celebration of Sharon’s life: Friday, February 27, 2026 at 1 pm in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Burial: A private family committal service will take place at Oak Creek Cemetery, rural Bottineau, ND
