She graduated from Rugby High School in 1959 and subsequently attended the New York Hairdressing Academy in Fargo, ND. After graduation from the academy, she married the love of her life, Jerome Allyn Romine on June 3, 1962, at the Rugby Methodist Church.

In 1987 she attended the Arizona Institute of Electrolysis in Scottsdale, AZ to earn her qualification as a board certified electrologist. She took pride in her career, but what she loved most was time with her family and any opportunity to go golfing. She and Jerry made many lasting memories golfing with friends and loved ones. Beyond that, she was also a gifted artist who enjoyed drawing, painting, and making jewelry.

Shortly after settling in Colorado, she & Jerry joined Littleton United Methodist Church (LUMC). She was a member of the Care Team and provided many delicious bars, cookies, etc. for memorial services at LUMC.
