Ricky Thomas Lampert passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at a Minot hospital. He was born in Minot on August 22, 1951, to Tommy H. and Ruth L. Lampert. Rick grew up on the family farm, graduated from Makoti High School, and attended Minot State College and North Dakota State University.

Rick is survived by his son, Brady; his wife, DeeDee; his sisters, Sharon Locken and Leslie Walters; his brothers, David and Bruce; and his lifelong friend, Michelle Holmes. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Derek.

At Rick’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Cremation has taken place. A private burial of cremated remains will take place at St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery, Makoti.

Memorials are preferred to the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Upper Midwest Local Chapter | National MS Society
