Garth Allen Senechal, 44 of Rugby passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 19th, 2026 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota. He was born on August 15, 1981 to Orlan and Carolyn (Rettinger) Senechal. Garth is survived by his wife, LaRae and their children, Hannah, Harper, Raegen and Ryann; his parents, Orlan and Carolyn Senechal; sisters, Christy and Orie (David) Oksendahl; parents-in-law, Greg Brossart and Jodi Brossart; in-laws, Miranda (Eric) Martz, Lyndsi (Brian) Huber and Jerrod (Stephanie) Brossart; grandfather-in-law, Kenny Mattern; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Rugby Armory with lunch and fellowship to follow at the Rugby Eagle’s. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Rugby with a prayer service and sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m.
