Rita Uran

New Town

After a courageous battle with cancer, Rita (Langved) Uran, age 72, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Stanley hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Uran of New Town; son, Shannon Uran of New Town; grandchildren, Samantha (Brandon) Williams, Melodie Person (Braden), and Lane Person; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Savannah, Ollie, Brandon Jr., and Otto; brother, Steven Langved; uncle, Arthur Langved and aunt Lila Perzinski.

Funeral: Sat., Jan. 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, New Town with visitation 2 hours prior.

Interment: Grand Valley Lutheran Church, rural New Town

**In place of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Church, New Town Ambulance, or New Town Fire Department.
