Myrtice Elaine Bailey, the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Solie) Livedalen was born on June 1, 1944 in Rugby, North Dakota. She died on Sunday, December 14th, 2025 at the age of 81 years at her home in rural Towner, North Dakota. On July 1, 1966, she was united in marriage to Joe Bailey at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner. Myrtice is survived by her siblings, Roger (Linda) Livedalen of Towner and Gloria (Gerald) Kurtyka of Devils Lake; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Jerry (Linda) Bailey of Towner, Annabelle McBeth of Towner and Jenell (Kenneth) Rollman of Garrison; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner. Burial will take place in the spring at Granville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service and sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner. Visitation will continue on Saturday for one hour prior to the time of services at the church.
