Jane Krueger, 90, Minot, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, in a Minot hospital.
Jane was born on March 21, 1935, to Herbert and Jacobina (Hess) Klingman on a farm south of Kief, ND. Jane had one brother, Hilbert, and two sisters, Lucille and Marian.
Jane married the love of her life, Gust Krueger, on June 26, 1953, after he returned home from serving in the Army. They made their home on a farm near the Krueger family farm for three years before moving onto the family farm which they later purchased where they raised cattle and did some farming. They were blessed with their three children, Corrine, Larry, and Delane.
In 2003, Jane and Gust retired from farming, sold their farm and moved to Minot where Jane was employed at Edgewood Vista Assistant Living in Minot for six years. She helped plan activities and drove the bus for the residents who wanted to go on outings.
Jane thoroughly enjoyed crocheting, something she learned from her mom and aunts. She also enjoyed crafts and doing yard work. She entered her yard work in the Beatification for Sheridan County, where she won 2nd place.
She was a very active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Butte, she served on the church council, was the secretary for the church and started the Homemakers Club. Jane was also a member of the Butte American Legion for 55 years.
She loved to spend time cooking for her family with the produce from the big garden they all helped work on.
She is survived by her children, Corrine Krueger (Joel Heil), Delane Krueger, both of Minot; 2 granddaughters, LeAnn (Bob Tanner), and Misty; 7 great-grandchildren, Dilan (Karrie), Cheyenne (Douglas), Justin, Mayli, Taylor, Nate, and Cole; 1 great-great grandchild Korra with another on the way; and siblings, Hilbert (Donna) Klingman and Marian (Don) Schlag.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, Gust; son, Larry; an infant sister; sister, Lucille Boucher; father and mother-in-law, Matt and Sophie Krueger; brothers-in-law, Bill and Bennie and sister-in-law, Emma.
Service will be held in the spring of 2026.
