Peggy Jean Nogosek, 90, Des Lacs, ND, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at a Minot nursing home.

Peggy Jean Coffey was born April 2 ,1935, the daughter of Milton H. and Catherine (Filbert) Coffey. She was raised and educated in Des Lacs, ND.

Peggy married Richard G. “Dick” Nogosek on August 14, 1955, in Des Lacs. They made their home in Minot, where they began raising their children, Rodney, Randy, Kathi, Kelly, Kristy, and Ricky. The family moved to Des Lacs in 1975, and Peggy resided there until 2024.

Richard sadly passed away September 23, 1979.

Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cheering for her DLB Lakers where she was the ‘Milk Shake Momma’ for 26 years.

Her loving family includes: Son, Randy (Kathleen) Nogosek, Minot; daughter, Kristy (Scott) Hamel; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; daughters, Kelly Sharpe, and Katherine “Kathi” Kohlhoff; sons, Ricky and Rodney Nogosek; siblings; and great-granddaughter, Makaia Scott.

Memorial Service: Thursday, October 23, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Visitation: Thursday, from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
