Louise “Nana” Lynn, 87, Minot, died Sunday, October 26, 2025, in her home.

Louise Jeanette Holden was born on February 10, 1938 to Thomas and Mary (Price) Holden in Cromwell Township, PA. She was raised and educated in Orbisonia, where she graduated from Orbisonia High School in 1956.

Louise began her career at Masonic Homes in Elizabeth Town, PA where she worked for several years. It was during that time she met James Lynn. The couple was united in marriage on November 30, 1956 in Hagerstown, MD. They were blessed with one daughter, Tracey.

Throughout James’s military career, the family was stationed in Washington then North Carolina before they moved to Minot AFB in 1970. Louise later worked at the BX on the Minot AFB from 1979 until her retirement in 2001.

Louise was a member of Vincent United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling with her husband in their younger years and took great pride in caring for her great grandchildren and tending to her garden – especially her beloved tomato flowers.

Louise is survived by her daughter Tracey (Jeff) Wallstrum, Minot; grandchildren Krista (James) Doty Opstedal, Minot, Nathaniel (Isabella) Doty, Minot, Blake (Kellie) Wallstrum, Bismarck, Leslie (Sean) Gallier, Minot and Taylor (Amber) Wallstrum, Minot; great-grandchildren Rylan, Remington, Taelyn, Jude, Ander, Ember, Baylor, Laleh, Benson, and Bodie; sisters Erma Myers, Newport, PA, and Shirley Armstrong, Rockhill Furnace, PA; sisters-in-law Linda Holden, Spring Lake, NC and Frida Holden, Rockhill Furnace, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Lynn; sisters Thelma, Rose, Mabel and Joan; brothers Ivan, Dave, Herb, Elmer and Ed and brother-in-law Warren.

Interment: 2:00 p.m. at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Rural Mandan, North Dakota

Visitation: Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials are preferred to C. Morris & Bette Anderson Junior Bowling Scholarship and North Dakota Association for the Disabled.
