Joseph P. Haman, 96 of Minot and formerly of Towner passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Northern Lights Rehab and Long-Term Care in Minot, North Dakota. Joseph P., the son of Peter and Magdalena (Jaeger) Haman, was born on March 29, 1929 on the family farm near Towner, North Dakota. On November 13, 1950, he was united in marriage to Helen Fettig at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. Joe P. is survived by his children, David (Dorothy) Haman of Towner, Juliana (Mathiew) Kurtz of Odessa, MO, Rita Briscoe of Sioux Falls, SD, Donna (Daniel M) Brossart of Rugby, Diane Haman of Fargo, Sandra (Maurus) Brossart of Rugby, Rebecca Haman (Fred Schell) of Towner and Joseph J (Amelia) Haman of Rugby. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with rosary, vigil prayer service and sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the church in Towner. Visitation will continue on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
