Delores “Dee” Falkinburg, 69, Minot, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Minot hospital.
Delores Diane Adams was born November 5, 1955, the daughter of Robert L. and Lois R. (Haaff) Adams, in Vincennes, Indiana. She was raised and educated in Vincennes graduating from Lincoln High School in 1974.
On August 2, 1974, Delores enlisted into the United States Air Force. She proudly served her country for over 20 years, retiring on August 31, 1994. Following her retirement, Dee worked at Minot State University, Mayer Electric as office Manager, and then worked in inspections/permits for the City of Minot for 15 years, officially retired on January 1, 2025.
Delores was united in marriage to Michael Falkinburg in July of 1977. Delores and Michael both in the Air Force brought them to Minot, where they made their home. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot. She served on the Greater Minot Zoological Board for over 30 years, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, was a Girl Scout Troop leader and at the Norsk Hostfest. Delores enjoyed craft projects and needle work.
Her loving family includes: husband, Michael; and their two dogs, Annie and Maggie;
sisters, RoseAnna (Robin) Russler, and Nancy Pinnick;
close family friends and neighbors: Ed and Jenny Steckler and their family Thomas, Emily Steckler (Clay Lundy), Abbey (Matt) Ruhland; Steve and Vicky Wharton and their family Breanna (Ryan) Beede, Doug and Karla Ritzke and their family Rachel and HayLee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Robert Jr and a sister, Mona.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, October 10, 2025, 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Minot.
Visitation: Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday, October 9, 2025, 5:30 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
