Delores Marie Block 91, Minot, died peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, Trinity Nursing Home, surrounded by family.

Delores was born in Ebro, Minnesota, on June 16, 1934, to Ed and Hazel (Jensen) Weber. They later moved to Minot, where she was raised and educated.

Delores was united in marriage to Warren D. Block on January 6, 1954, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Minot. They were blessed with six children: Mark Allen, Baby Boy Block (passed at birth), Kent Lee, Steven Joseph, Duane Warren and Dwight (Duane’s twin, passed at two days old).

Delores remarried many years later after Warren’s passing to Floyd Herslip until he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and passed away. Floyd was gentle man, and they enjoyed each other’s company.

Delores was a dedicated housewife who stayed at home and took care of the children. As the kids became older and were all in school, she took a job with Trinity Nursing Home as a beautician. At Trinity she met a wonderful friend, Jennette Brothers; they would always talk about their work and chuckle about different interactions they would have with clients. Delores loved to knit; She would knit dish towels and rags, clothes for her dolls, gloves, and many other items.

She was a fun-loving mother, whose boys could never do wrong. She enjoyed going for rides, watching the boys fishing, and going to ball games.

Delores was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church in Minot

Delores is survived by her: sons, Mark (Cindy), Steven (Nancy), Duane W. “Dewy” (Joyce) all of Minot; sisters, Darlene Hendershot (Dick) and Diane Kay; brother, Dell Weber (Debbie); as well as many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband Warren; sons, Baby Boy Block, Dwight (twin of Duane), and Kent Block; her parents, Ed and Hazel Weber; brother, Darrel; and many other relatives.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:30 am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot. Visitation: Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday at 7:00 pm, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Memorials are preferred to Trinity Homes or Our Lady of Grace Food Pantry.
