Karen Lee Erickson, 65, of Roosevelt, Utah passed away at her home on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Karen was born on July 25, 1960 to William and Edith (Van Camp) Wagar in Rugby, North Dakota. She was raised on the farm near Bantry and graduated from Towner High School in 1978. Karen married Kevin Amon in 1978 and lived in Minot until Kevin passed away. Karen worked as a medical receptionist at Medical Arts Clinic for many years while in Minot. Karen moved to Roosevelt, Utah in 1998 and married Dale Erickson on July 28, 2000. Karen will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Dale Erickson of Roosevelt, Utah; her mother, Edith Wagar of Towner, North Dakota; sisters, Nancy (Bob) Jaeger of Towner, North Dakota and Linda Lohnes of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13th at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner with rosary, vigil prayer service and sharing of memories beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
