Gloria Jundt, 90, Minot, ND, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025, at a Minot nursing home.

Gloria was born on August 18, 1934, to Moran E. and Mabel (Severson) Stromme in Bergen, ND. She was raised and educated in Bergen, graduating from Bergen High School.

She taught at the Berwick Country School for three years. She worked as a housekeeper for the Kelly Inn and earned many awards. Gloria and Leo worked alongside one another at their family owned gas station and service center, Jundt’s Full Service.

Gloria met Leo Jundt while working at the school and Leo drove bus. She married Leo on May 31, 1954, in Fulda, ND. They made their home in Minot, and they were blessed with seven children, Terry, Peggy, Jacqueline, Jeff, Todd, Pamela, and Mark. Leo passed away May 6, 2025.

Gloria had a strong faith, and she was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

She worked at the Magic City Hatchery. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, bingo, football, and watching golf in the winter months. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

n, Brenda (Chris) Aberle, Becky (TJ) LaVallie, Cassandra (Paul) Uskevicz, Eric (Amber Moen) Jundt, Samantha (Travis) Bragg, Brittney (Boyd Zavalney) Keys, Justin (Jennifer Neigum Stanley) Jundt, Josh Jundt, Amber Jundt, Taylor (Karsen) Rafferty, Delaney Jundt; 43 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; in-laws, Al (Ann) Jundt, Alice Schneider, Sylvia Hanneson, George (Marge) Jundt, Virgil (Sandy) Jundt, Carol (Larry) Thompson, Gary (Carlean) Jundt, Anna Barbara (Earl) Babb, Roger (Deb) Jundt; brother-in-law, Dennis Haga; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of almost 71 years, Leo; son, Mark Jundt; sisters-in-law, infant, Bernice Jundt, Delores Satern, and Margie Haga; brother, Harlan (Ardith) Stromme.

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, August 18, 2025, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Sunday from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Sunday at 2 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

The service will be livestreamed for the public to view.
