Gladys Sonja Oimoen-Stalions, daughter of Casper and Ruth Oimoen, passed away peacefully in her Medford, Oregon, home on July 30, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born in Anaconda, Montana, grew up in Minot, and had been a resident of the Rogue Valley in Oregon for over 50 years.

Sonja was the beloved wife of Larry, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a lifelong educator. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and created a legacy of warmth and kindness that will live on in the hearts of her family.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held in southern Oregon and will be announced at a later date.
