Betty Adams

Betty Ann Adams, 79, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at a care center in Maryville.

She was born on December 10, 1945, in Westhope, North Dakota to Theodore and Velma (Feken) Ballantyne. She was a 1963 graduate of Westhope High School in Westhope, North Dakota. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Village Care Center for many years. Betty enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo, and writing poetry. She spent most of her life caring for others. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She married Ralph E. Adams on October 2, 1967, in Minot, North Dakota. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2018. She was also preceded by her parents, sisters, Gladys (Norman) Nehring, and Marlene Hill, brothers, William (Masa) Ballantyne, Gerald Ballantyne, James Ballantyne and Robert Ballantyne.

Survivors include her children, son, Keven (Chanda) Adams and their children, Alana (Trevor) Quick, Jacob and Aaron, daughter, Dawn (Mike) Moberg and their children, Samuel, Josie and Benjamin; one great-grandson, Grayson; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Ballantyne and Francine Ballantyne; brother-in-law, Curt Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services 10am Saturday, August 23rd at Oak Hill Cemetery in Maryville under the care of Price Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Boulevard Miami, FL 33134.
