Tim Lawson, 62, Milwaukee, WI and formerly of Minot died on July 24, 2025 in a Milwaukee hospital.

Tim Lawson was born on December 31, 1962 in Maine to Joe Sr. and Josephine Lawson. He was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1981.

As a high school student, he was an outstanding football player (running back and linebacker) and track athlete (sprints). He continued his education at North Dakota State University where he was a member of the football team for a short time. As a young adult he moved to Milwaukee where he had lived.

Tim is survived by his mother: Josephine; siblings: Joe (Ruth), Kevin, Charles, David (Monica) and Stacey. He was preceded in death by his father and brother: Drexel.

A service will be held at a later date.
