Ronnie Stenvold, 69, Velva, ND, formerly of Minot, ND, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Trinity Hospital.

Ronald Edward Stenvold was born October 23, 1955, the son of Lars and Marie (Fahy) Stenvold, in Minot. He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1973.

Ronnie lived in Minot his whole life. He was employed for 44 years as the cook’s help at Grand International until he retired in 2019 due to health complications.

He loved spending all his time at Rob’s shop, often staying long enough to take a nap. Ronnie enjoyed going to the car races and especially watching his nephews’ race. He also loved hanging with his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and his great-great nieces and great-great nephews. He looked forward to family gatherings. He enjoyed spending Monday and Tuesday nights watching The Voice and watching Wheel of Fortune every day after the news.

His loving family includes: sisters, Judy (Ken) Haman, Joyce (Les) Cabler; brother-in-law, Troy Selzler; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jim (Paula) Stenvold, Mary Lou New, MaDonna Selzler.

Memorial Service: Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Inurnment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
