Martin Wolf

Nov. 12, 1934-July 10, 2025
Minot
Martin Wolf, 90, Minot, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, July 10, 2025.
Martin Wolf was born November 12, 1934, the son of Peter and Regina (Heintz) Wolf, in Drake, ND. He was raised and educated in the Drake area.
Martin married the love of his life, Ilene Reiger, on September 16, 1957. They moved to Minot and were blessed with three children, Keith, Kimberly, and Karen.
He attended a sheet metal trade school and went on to work in the heating and sheet metal industry all his adult life, owning Minot Heating & Sheet Metal until he retired in 1999. Retirement was a loose term; he was still just a phone call away for anyone no matter the day or time to help fix a furnace or an air conditioner.
He truly loved working, staying busy, and helping others in any way he could. Martin’s passion was family, who were always number one on his priority list. Their home was always welcoming to their family and friends. Martin blessed his family with an additional ten years of life after losing his true love on December 22, 2014, and he made every day a blessing. He may have only had three kids and four grandchildren, but he was a “dad” and “grandpa” to many. Martin and Ilene were active members of Little Flower Catholic Church Parish, Knights of Columbus, and the Moose Lodge.
His loving family includes: one son, Keith Wolf (Dana), The Woodlands, Tx; two daughters, Kimberly (Russell) Magandy, Minot, Karen (Kevin) Kalamaha, Bismarck; four grandchildren, Rees Magandy, Reeann Magandy, both of Minot, Kadra Kalamaha (Craig), Cheyenne, WY, and Kody Kalamaha, Bismarck; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 57 years, Ilene; brothers, Louie, Thomas, Fred, Joseph; sisters, Elizabeth, Margareta, Lucy.
