Kenneth Tetrault

Dec 5, 1963-June 25, 2025
Bowbells
Kenneth “Kenny” Dean Tetrault, 61, Bowbells, finished his race on June 25, 2025, in Bismarck, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous seven-month battle with cancer.
Kenny was born December 5, 1963, the son of Roger and Ruby (Myre) Tetrault, in Great Falls, MT. He was raised and educated in California until the age of nine when the family moved to North Dakota. Kenny graduated from Bowbells High School in 1982.
He furthered his education at Williston State College, graduating with an associate’s degree in diesel mechanics. While in Williston, he met the love of his life, Jayne. They were united in marriage on August 18th, 1984, and were blessed with three children, Brett, Shelly, and Scott.
They moved around but ultimately settled in Bowbells where they have resided since 1997.
Kenny worked many jobs until he found his passion working for the Burke County Road Department.
Throughout the years, Kenny built more than a career- he built trust, respect, and relationships that will stand for the rest of time. He took pride in a job well done and found purpose in being dependable, honest, and hardworking. His words were solid, and his handshake meant something. He gave his all to everything he did, whether it was his work, his family, or helping a neighbor in need.
Kenny enjoyed yard work, being out at the lake, socializing, and working on everything and anything he could put his hands on. He spent many hours in his newly constructed “sharage” working on cars, lawn mowers, 4-wheelers, or anything else with a motor.
He loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids whether that was taking them on adventures or helping them with any project that came up. For many years, he also enjoyed helping Hal Ross Farms during harvest.
His loving family includes: wife of 41 years, Jayne; children, Brett (Diane) Tetrault, Shelly Tetrault, Scott (Brittany) Tetrault; grandchildren, Rebecca Maroney, Hayden Tetrault, Kendra Tetrault, Natasha Tetrault; mother, Ruby Tetrault; and a wide circle of extended family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who will remember him with great respect and admiration. His presence may be gone, but his impact remains in the lives he touched and the example he set.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Tetrault; grandparents, Gilbert and Evelyn Myre; uncle, Curt Myre, Pets, Abby and Brandy.
