Judy G. Boe, 84 of rural Mylo/Perth North Dakota passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Towner County Living Center, Cando ND.
There will be a visitation at the Bisbee Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. There will be fellowship in the church dining hall following the Funeral Service. The burial will be in the Perth Cemetery.
Judith Garnett, daughter of Clarence and Helen (Boe) Guderjohn was born on March 9, 1941, in Rolla, North Dakota. She grew up on a farm in the Perth area, attending Monroe Township Country School. She graduated from Rolla High School in 1958. While in high school, Judy worked at the Cantina in Rolla.
Judy was united in marriage to Harold G. Boe on June 14, 1959, at Perth Lutheran Church. They would live, work side by side, raise their boys, (Tom, Scott, and Tracy) on the farm and share a life of love, devotion, and dedication in good times and bad for the next 54 years. Harold died on April 19, 2014. Judy continued to live on the farm until her passing.
Judy was always there to support the Boe Family Farm, and all its operations. She was always ready with delicious meals, running errands, being a loving mother to three boys, a faithful, active member of Perth Lutheran Church and good neighbor and friend to so many.
Judy was an excellent baker, and shared her treats, making family favorites her priority. She excelled in the art of hardanger and was a member of the Sons of Norway in Cando, staying connected with her Norwegian heritage. Even after the organization disbanded, Judy enjoyed meeting with some of the former members which they happily named the “Uff Da Club.”
For over 30 years Judy and Harold wintered in Texas and Arizona. This decision soon led them to membership in the Family Motor Coach Association-the North Dakota Chapter called the “Ramblin Nodaks,” where Judy served as President for several years. They loved traveling around North Dakota and the United States in their motor home and even made a very memorable trip to Alaska. They left the land occasionally and enjoyed a few vacation cruises in their retirement.
Our Judy, a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, dear sister, aunt, and friend. Rest in God’s peace.
Judy is survived by her sons and their spouses Scott and Sharon Boe, Perth ND and Tracy and Sandy Boe of Mylo ND; eight grandchildren Jenny (Henry) Campos, Katie (Nate) Reineke: Cassie (Kris) Brown, Taylor Boe, Carly (Devin) Flanders: Jessica Lawler, Britta (Ryan) Renner, Kelsey Boe; thirteen great grandchildren Dylen, McKenna, Morgan, Nora, Ella, Kayden, Claire, Adley, Emberly, Sofia, Everett, Boden and Grady; sisters-in-law Dorothy Guderjohn, Rolla, ND, Rita Waldorf of Virginia, Mary Boe, Cando ND; several nieces, nephews and their families.
