Dale M. Ellingson

Culver City, Calif.

Dale M. Ellingson, 68, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, at his home in Culver City, California.

Born and raised in Minot, North Dakota, Dale was the son of Mervin and Pauline Ellingson and one of nine siblings. He graduated from Minot High School in 1975 and soon after moved to Southern California, where he built a full and joyful life. Together with his wife and high school sweetheart, Karen Dippong, he raised their three sons and embraced the adventure of family and fatherhood.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife Karen; sons Skyler, Weston, and Mason; and cherished grandchildren Roman and Sofia. He is also survived by siblings Gary, Gwen, Bruce, Becky, Diane, and Cory; along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, John and Jeff.

Dale will be remembered for his warmth, love of family, and the joy he brought to those around him.”
