Levi Heil, 35, Minot, died Saturday, June 21, 2025 at a Minot hospital.

Levi Leonard Heil was born on May 29, 1990, a son of Joel Heil and Bobbi Mock in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Butte, ND until the school’s closure and they moved to Velva. He graduated in 2008 from Velva Public School.

Following graduation, Levi worked for his uncle Jay Heil as a tile installer and also in the Bakken Oil Field for various companies and in various positions. He was a Pressure Testing Specialist at the time of his death.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, watching their sporting events. He was passionate about the outdoors camping and fishing.

He is survived by: Children; Oakley, August and Peyton (who he loved like his own); Parents: Bobbi (Troy Anderson) Gleason; Joel (Corrine Krueger) Heil; Siblings: Larissa (Rich Kanbeitz) Rau, Tyler (Megan) Gleason, Daniel (Joslyn) Gleason, MacKenzie (Kole Graber) Gleason, Misty Mechtel, Ally (Richie) Poppler, MaKayla Anderson, Justin Anderson; Maternal grandmothers: Sharon Malcomb; Paternal grandparents Jerry (Judy) Heil; Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Levi was preceded in death by grandfather Robert Mock; step-father Jason Gleason, and Brittany Pfau.

Visitation: Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Prayer service at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Funeral Service: Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot.

Burial: Friday at 1:30 pm at the Butte Community Cemetery, Butte, ND.
