Dale Gange, 77, Minot, formerly of Karlsruhe, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at a Harvey nursing home.

Dale was born on Oct. 21, 1947 in Minot to Paul and Katherine (Meyer) Gange. He was raised and educated in Karlsruhe. Dale was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1967 and was stationed in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1969.

On Nov. 22, 1969, Dale was united in marriage with Elaine Duchsherer. The couple would make their home in Karlsruhe where Dale worked on the family farm. Elaine passed away in Oct. 1986. In 1988, Dale married Elizabeth Shaw. She passed away in 2018.

Dale enjoyed fishing and playing cards with friends. He was a member of the VFW, Eagles, and Moose.

Dale is survived by his son, Jason (Janell) Gange; daughter, Jaime (Dean) Bartsch; Step-daughter, Kim Uhrich; grandchildren, Breanna, Kendra, and Ashton Gange and Bennett, Kinley, and Cameren Bartsch; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Katherine; wives, Elaine and Elizabeth; and siblings, Jerry, Gale, and Paulette

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot.

Burial will follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Karlsruhe.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the cemetery.

After the committal service, there will be a time of lunch and fellowship at the family farm north of Karlsruhe.
