Curtis John Roerick, 68, passed away in his home with his wife at his side on Thursday, June 19, 2025 after a long battle with metastatic lung cancer.

Curtis was born on December 11, 1956 in Rugby, North Dakota, the second of 9 children born to Edward and Lyla (Kjetlien) Roerick.

He graduated from Harvey High School, class of 1975.

Curtis was united in marriage to Arlene Selensky on October 1, 1986 in Rugby. Curtis is survived by his wife of 39 years, Arlene; brothers, Gary (Marvilyn) of Rugby, Richard (Gaylene) of Harvey, Robert (Heidi) of Rugby, Allen of Harvey and Mark (Cindy) of Harvey; sisters, Lynda (Sidney) Mack of Fargo and Karen (Kelly) Muscha of Harvey.

Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, 11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. with rosary, vigil prayer service and sharing beginning at 7 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby.
