Ryan Holt

Feb. 4, 1986 – May 16, 2025
Parshall
Ryan Clayt Holt was born on Feb. 4, 1986, in Minot, to Mark Holt and Cindy K. (Jacobson) Holt. He was raised in Parshall and graduated from high school in 2004, where he participated in football and track.
After graduating, Ryan continued his education in Fargo, where he received his welding certification. Upon returning home, he started his own company, Ryan’s Welding.
In 2013, he began working for Estvold Oilfield Services as the Welding Manager. He had no problem showing off his welding skills and built a large grill for the company. He enjoyed working with people of diverse backgrounds and recently learned a few Spanish words.
Ryan’s long-term relationship with Amanda Delzer blessed him with two sons. He cherished spending time with his sons and tackling various projects together. He also enjoyed family gatherings and outings at the lake.
Additionally, Ryan loved hunting, riding his side-by-side, and tinkering with small engine repairs. He was known for enlisting his brother Rob for many unnecessary projects.
Ryan had a special bond with his sisters. Misti was always lovingly bossing him around while he and Megan had an inseparable bond.
Ryan was genuinely kind, caring, and respectful. He had a playful sense of humor and enjoyed pranking others, especially his nieces and nephews. His laugh was infectious, and anybody who heard it could not help but laugh along with him.
Ryan was the master at grilling. He knew exactly how to make it just right so it would melt in your mouth. He taught his nieces how to make pork ribs using an apple juice spray on the Traeger. They will always cherish this memory.
He was a loyal Minnesota Vikings fan, but often mad at them in the first quarter. He was proud to go with his nephew, Michael Jr., to his very first Minnesota Vikings game.
On May 16, 2025, with his family by his side, Ryan Clayt Holt peacefully passed away. He will always be remembered as the true blessing he was to so many people.
Ryan is survived by his sons, Ian and Ryker; mother, Cindy K.
