Kathy Anne Bunce, 80, passed away April 19, 2025 at home in Casa Grande. She was born February 22, 1945

Kathy was a beloved State Farm Agent-Secretary, who dedicated her career to helping others and making a positive impact. It was in Seattle, Washington where she met the love of her life, Don, and their connection blossomed into a beautiful 58 year marriage filled with love and adventure. After retiring, she embraced her passions whole heartedly. She was known for her incredible cooking. She brought family and friends around the dinner table, sharing not just meals but laughter and love. In her free time, she enjoyed playing card games, often challenging friends and family to a friendly game. Her love for fishing and camping was another cherished pastime.

Kathy had a vibrant spirit and a zest for life, always seeking out fun and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Kathy is survived by her husband Don Bunce; daughter Amoret Allen (Brad); siblings Rick Payne, Debby Kitzman (Jim), and Penny Hoesel (Bruce); grandchildren Austin Sjong, Zorn Allen, Sarah Prough, Ginny Callahan, and Gabe Bunce and 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Michael Bunce (Vhonda); her parents Clifford and Annabelle Payne; brother Gerry Payne (Kathy) and sister Robin Demaree (Tony), Clay Sjong.

There will be a service at St. Cecilia’s Church in Towner on June 18, 2025 at 10:00 am. Father Michael Schommer presiding. The burial will be held after the service at Union Cemetery in Towner.
