Hartley Allan Hageness, 82, Rugby, died at his home on March 17, 2025. Hartley was born on May 16, 1942 to Melvin and Alice Hageness.

He grew up in the Pleasant Lake area and graduated from Rugby High School and North Dakota State School of Science. He operated Hartley’s School Buses from 1969 until the time of his death. Hartley served his community in countless ways over the years.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rugby on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.

Burial will follow at Persilla Watts Cemetery, Rugby. Friends may call at the church an hour prior to the funeral service.
