He graduated from Miami Springs High School and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years. While stationed in Minot, North Dakota, he met his future wife, and together they built a family, raising three children.
Their journey continued to Lakenheath Air Force Base in England, where they welcomed their fourth child, and later brought them to Clovis, New Mexico.
