Teresa Johnson

Teresa Marie Johnson was born and raised in Tenino, Washington. While in high school, she was a good athlete and played basketball and softball. After she graduated from high school, she joined the U.S. Coast Guard. Teresa got married, started her family and worked in clothing stores and Walmart. In 2005, she met Theodore Johnson and moved to Pennsylvania, where the couple was married. Ted retired and the couple decided to buy a house in Rugby, North Dakota. They moved and made their home in Rugby for the last 19 years.

Teresa worked at Leevers Foods and then from home as a manager for U-Haul. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and putting things together with her Cricut machine as well as making and selling greeting cards. Ted and Teresa were blessed to find each other and loved living their life together. She will be greatly missed.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Theodore; children, David Adams, Krystal Hernandez and Kathleen Wells and her grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 4 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby with burial in the spring at the Persilla Watts Cemetery, Rugby. Pastor Nathan Steen, officiating.
