Cecelia Reynolds, 78, Minot, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 in a Minot hospital.

Cecelia Katherine Berube was born on September 12, 1946, a daughter of Fortune and Katherine (O’Keefe) Berube in Santa Paula, CA. She was raised and educated in California, until her family moved to Dunseith, ND where she graduated from Dunseith High School in 1965. Cecelia furthered her education by attending Minot State Teachers College, graduating in 1969, In 1986, she earned her Master’s Degree in Infant Development.

On July 23, 1971, Cecelia was united in marriage to Ronald E. Reynolds at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where together they raised their family of three children, Renee, Tricia and Michael. In addition, Cecelia was a beloved educator working within the Minot Public School system, spending 30 years at Erik Ramstad Middle School retiring in 2008. Ronald passed away on December 29, 1997. Following his death, she remained in Minot.

She is survived by: Children: Renee Babb, Tricia (Brent) Smith, Michael (Nicole) Reynolds; Ten grandchildren: Daniel Babb, Evelyn Babb, Caden (Gracee) Smith, Cole Smith, Kyle Smith, Kallie Smith, Kylee Reynolds, Logan Reynolds, Jaxon Reynolds, Ilias Reynolds; Siblings: Tom Berube, Jim (Linda) Berube: Step-siblings: Tom (Jan) Evans, Frank (LaRae) Evans, Mike (Patty) Evans, Greg (Joanne) Evans, Pat Evans; Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 26 years, Ronald; brother, Bill Berube; step siblings, Linda Carlson, Lindy Evans, Jim Evans; and a nephew, Luke Evans.

Visitation: Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4 until 5 at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot

Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 5 pm in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10 am at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, Minot

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
