William Stevens

Lakeville, Minn.

William Richard “Rick” Stevens, age 69 of Lakeville, MN, formerly of Minot, ND, entered heavenly rest on October 26, 2024. Rick was born February 18, 1955, in Fargo, ND, the son of William and LaVerne (Lee) Stevens. He met and married Vicki Kiemele in August 1976. They had one child Jessica. She and her husband Nick had a very close relationship with Rick. He thought he had it all until he became a Papa to Eloise and Ledger, his loving grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held November 4, 2024, 11 a.m., at Farmington Lutheran Church, 20600 Akin Rd. Farmington, MN 55024. Interment at Farmington Lutheran Cemetery. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at First Lutheran Church in Minot, ND, on December 7, 2024, from 1-3 p.m., in the Gloria Dei Room.

Memorials received by the family will be used toward a scholarship being developed in Rick’s honor at the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Additional memorials may also be given to Farmington Lutheran Church.
