Miles Gregory Passa, 7, Minot, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Miles Gregory Passa was born August 28, 2017, a son of Gregory and Michelle (Johnson) Passa, in Minot, ND. He moved with his family to Velva, ND, when he was 1 year old. He attended Star City Daycare, and enjoyed baseball, playing t-ball and was very outgoing, making new friends everywhere he went.
In the fall of 2023, Miles and his family moved to Minot, where he attended Bishop Ryan School. He remained very sociable, and active with his siblings and friends. Together they enjoyed baseball, hitting golf balls, playing Nintendo Switch, (especially Mario Cart and Super Mario.) He even enjoyed attacking his siblings with his Nerf Gun collection.
In August of 2023, Miles was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. He remained courageous, and underwent his first major brain surgery five days before his 6th birthday. Throughout the past year and a half, he remained active, was very smart and organized. He especially enjoyed Captain America, playing with Legos and playing with his cat Ashton.
His faith was very important to him and his family, and was able to receive his First Communion, just weeks ago. A moment he was very gracious for. He was a member of St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, Minot.

Parents: Gregory and Michelle Passa, Minot;
Siblings: Emma, Olivia, Jack and Ava;
Maternal Grandparents: Allison Johnson, Willard (Laurie) Johnson;
Paternal Grandparents: Tammy Keller, Galen Keller;
Paternal great-grandmother: Angeline Keller;
Aunts and Uncles: Melissa (Paul) Cantone, Beth Johnson, Kristie (Kevin) Kuchera, Logan Johnson, Stephanie (Kent) Reisenauer, Isaiah Keller, Camilla (Brandon) Keller, Jorden Keller, John Keller, Grace (Jared) Starr and Shelby Gantzer;
along with numerous great aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother Danny Passa and a cousin Taylor Cantone.
Visitation: Friday, November 29, 2024 from 4:30 until 6:30 at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, Minot
Vigil Prayer Service: Friday, November 29, 2024 at 6:30 pm at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, Minot
Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, November 30 2024, at 2p.m. in the Gymnasium of Bishop Ryan High School, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
